1. Introduction

This website, https://thekalariacademy.com, is operated by Kalari Pte Ltd ,also known as Kalari Academy (henceforth referred to as “The Academy”).

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our Site and the martial arts training services offered by The Academy.

By using this Site or registering for any class, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Eligibility

• Participants must meet the minimum age and physical requirements set forth by The Academy.

• Parents or legal guardians must provide consent for participants under the age of 18.

3. Risks and Assumption of Liability

• By participating in any class or event, you acknowledge that martial arts training involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, psychological injury, pain, or death.

• You agree to assume full responsibility for any risk of injury or loss that may arise from participating in our Services.

• You waive any claims against The Academy and its instructors, coaches, employees, or affiliates for damages arising out of participation in classes and / or demonstrations.

4. Use of Weapons and Training Safety

• Our classes may involve the use of weapons and simulated combat moves. All participants must follow instructor guidance and adhere to safety protocols.

• Failure to comply with safety instructions may result in immediate dismissal from the class, with no refund provided.

5. Code of Conduct

• All students are to always conduct themselves in a respectful and disciplined manner.

• Any acts of violence, harassment, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in immediate termination of the individual’s membership and legal action may be taken against the individual with respect to Singapore’s law enforcement and legal system.

6. Class Booking and Cancellations

• Booking a class requires full payment prior to attendance unless otherwise stated in writing by the management.

• Cancellations made within 24 hours will not be deducted as a used session, subject to a case-by-case basis. Cancellations after this period are counted as used sessions.

7. Memberships and Package Terms

• Memberships or packages are strictly non-transferable and non-refundable.• Sessions included in membership packages must be used within the specified period. Expired sessions cannot be redeemed.

• All packages have a validity from the initial sign-on/ fee payment date

  • 10 session package (4 months validity from fee payment date)

  • 20 session package (6 months validity from fee payment date)

  • 30 sessions package (8 months validity from fee payment date)

• The Academy reserves the right to amend membership and package terms, conditions, modifications, cancellations and terminations at its discretion.

8. Payment Terms

• All fees for Services are payable in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and must be paid by the methods advised by the management.

• The Academy reserves the right to change prices at any time, at its discretion.

9. Intellectual Property

• All content, including training materials, photos, videos, logos, and written materials, are the intellectual property of The Academy.

• Reproduction, distribution, or use of any material without written permission is prohibited.

10. Privacy Policy

• Our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and handle your information, is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

11. Limitation of Liability

• The Academy and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Services.

12. Modification of Terms

• The Academy reserves the right to amend any of these Terms or add on new conditions to these Terms at any time at its discretion.

13. Governing Law

• These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will be resolved in the courts of Singapore.
