The Kalari Academy is a Singapore-based organisation, founded in 2015 with the vision of assisting anyone who desires to learn the Indian martial arts of Kalaripayattu, Silambam, and Adimurai to attain the skills that these arts encompass. We achieve this by amalgamating traditional approaches in imparting this knowledge, with novel and contemporary styles of teaching the ancient arts to our students.

In the 10 years since its founding, the Kalari Academy has come leaps and bounds. With over 500 students taught, the Academy has become a recognised martial arts school in Singapore. The academy has been involved in key showcases such as the launch of The Indian Heritage Centre, Istana Open House 2019, President’s Star Charity 2023 and NHB’s HeritageFest 2023. In 2024, Kalari Academy staged its inaugural theatre production, Immortal and was involved in Mediacorp‘s VeeraSingam TV series.
